How does WTA’s Free 6-ride Ticket Program work?
WTA distributes up to 50,000 sets of free 6-ride tickets each year. To do this, we work with social and health services agencies that serve low income clients and people with disabilities. Each ticket is good for six free rides on a fixed route bus. They are not valid on Route 80X, or on paratransit.
Social and health services agencies submit applications each November. All organizations seeking sets of free 6-ride tickets—including those who have received them in the past—will need to submit an application.
