How does WTA’s Free 6-ride Ticket Program work?

WTA distributes up to 50,000 sets of free 6-ride tickets each year.  To do this, we work with social and health services agencies that serve low income clients and people with disabilities. Each ticket is good for six free rides on a fixed route bus. They are not valid on Route 80X, or on paratransit.

Social and health services agencies submit applications each November. All organizations seeking sets of free 6-ride tickets—including those who have received them in the past—will need to submit an application.

Are discounted 1 ride tickets available?

No. We sell 1 ride tickets for $1 per ride. They are available in packages of 20 for $20, online or at Bellingham Station.

Can I purchase Day Passes?

Yes.  You can purchase Day Passes online in packages of 10 ($30). Or you can purchase single Day Passes at Bellingham Station ($3).
